about Flora & Fauna
Gina Andracchio brings a deeply compassionate approach to her services shaped by a lifetime of hands-on, heart-led learning. She spent her childhood foraging in the Iowa timber, learning patience, seasonal wisdom, and a reverence for wild and cultivated plants. Later in life, after more than a decade in the foodservice industry, Gina honed her practical care, attention to detail, and the humble joy of nourishing others. Her Master of Fine Arts in design and form-making refined her eye for harmony, intention, and a well-crafted experience. As a lifelong spiritual student her work is grounded in presence, empathy, listening and creation.
Based in Iowa City, Iowa, Gina partners closely with a growing network of local organic meat and veggie farmers, additional sisterhood helpers and local members in schools and community groups to create hands-on support, share resources, and build resilient, healthy food options for life’s tender seasons.
Together these twigs help to form a nest of services that are skillful and tender while rooted in Mother Earth, craft, community, and soulful attention.
